The Evangelism Ministry of Rising Star Baptist Church is founded upon two scriptures wherein in
Matthews 28:19-20 Jesus calls every believer in Christ to the ministry of the gospel of good news. In
order to be in obedience to the command to go and make disciples it is understood in Romans 10:14-15
that the believer cannot believe unless they hear the witness and testimony of a believer in Jesus Christ.

Join Our Efforts
Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the
Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded
you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

You Can Make a Difference
How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they
believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to
them? 15 And how can anyone preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet
of those who bring good news!”
Outreach vs Evangelism Ministry
What's the Difference?
There is a difference between “Outreach Ministry” – which is meeting the need of a person and
“Evangelism Ministry” – which is sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ. We will use every opportunity to
share the gospel of Jesus Christ.
